A West End Worship Centre live stream service: Sermon Message: Who are You? Knowing Yourself 2 Cor. 5: 11-21 (ESV)

This sermon calls the church to pray for the persecuted, remember our identity as disciples of Jesus, and live victoriously in a hostile culture through Christ’s finished work. Rooted in 1 Peter 3:18–22 and 4:1–11, it urges believers to renounce sin, cultivate discernment and holiness, and serve one another in love—“for love covers a multitude of sins”—so that God is glorified in His church.

This past Sunday, we honored our Associate Pastors and Ministers at West End Worship Centre with a special message from Bishop David E. Brown, National Bishop of the Church of God of Prophecy, Western Canada, titled “Honoring Those Who Serve.”

In this message we explore what it means to live a godly, set-apart life in a hostile world, drawing from Daniel 1–3 and Psalm 1 to show how identity rooted in God shapes our choices. We’re called to posture our hearts in worship, delight in God’s Word, and cultivate unshakable devotion that bears fruit like a tree planted by streams of water. The sermon invites honest repentance and a renewed commitment to holiness at school, work, online, and in everyday life.
