Welcome to your website manual

This page serves as your online manual on how to make changes on contents of your website. This page will also contain any further design updates done by your designer on your website starting on the day of publishing (Aug 1, 2019).

A few things to note:

  1. Editors can change, add and remove contents on the website including text, images, links, videos, blogs, and other data.
  2. Only the Designer can make changes to any style or layout of the website as well as any added web features or add-ons.
  3. All assets of this website can be found in a shared folder including thew logos, icons & any graphics. Click here to access shared assets folder.

How to make changes to the website:

  1. Access the editor side of your website go to: westend.church/?edit and login using admin@westend.church and the password you've create
  2. From here you can start editing any text or image via hovering over the content and clicking on the edit icons (pencil or image) and replacing them with the desired changes:
  1. You can access all the page settings, collections and forms on the bottom footer of your editor. From here you can delete and archive pages you don't need, add a new collection as well as access forms.

Collections

Collections are re-occuring updates or posts on your website that you can add, remove and update whenever you want.

Your website comes with 5 unique collections:

  1. Staff - updated whenever you have a new staff member you would want to put on your site as well as remove.
  2. Blogs - This can be used to post past events, church highlights, testimonies and other publishing
  3. Messages - Once you have a structure on how you would want to record previous messages you can use this to upload sermon outlines, attach a youtube video, audio as well as link to a powerpoint presentation.
  4. Events - This is used to post upcoming events that will be featured on the home page of your website. There are currently 3 events that are constant for your church. Any other new event needs to have a date attached to so that it would show up properly on your site. Your Events also come with a Social Plug IN that allows viewers to share your event on Facebook, Email or other social links.
  5. Ministries - This is used to update your members and visitors of the ministries you currently have, each of these ministries have their own separate page that allows you to customize its content. Also any Event that you create can be tagged with a ministry so that it shows up on the actual ministries' page.

To add a new Collection item, select the collection you would want to add on to and click on the green botton on the top right corner of the page and start filling up the required information.

NOTE: any collection that has a "Featured" switch means that you can highlight the event, blog or staff on the Home page of your website.

Forms

The forms tab is where you can access all the forms that people fill out on your site.

You currently have 3 unique forms on your site:

  1. General Inquiry Form
  2. Preyer Request Form
  3. Service Request Form (Weddings, Baby Dedications, Funerals)

You can access the history of any of these forms here as well as an email will be sent to: admin@westend.church
